There are many decisions to make when it comes to organising an event on the river. Whatever your circumstances you need to bear the following points in mind:

The organisers: there are more than fifteen reliable event management companies in Paris. Each has its own rules and working practices in terms of availability and scheduling for the boats, ports, freedom of choice (or not…) of service providers etc.

The boat: there more than 40 hospitality boats in Paris, from the smallest yacht to river cruisers and floating hotels that can accommodate 500 people, from converted barges to paddle steamers to panoramic boats.

The port: the Seine has more than 30 kilometres of quayside in Paris, with several dozen quays reserved for passenger vessels, some used exclusively by a particular company, others open to all boats.

My advice: don't choose a boat on impulse. You must be sure that the one you choose meets your requirements in terms both of size and technical equipment. The only way to achieve the right solution is to combine a global assessment of your plans and your needs with in depth know-how of what it takes to organise an event on the Seine.
