SEINE RECEPTIONS - PARIS EN CROISIERE

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

The taking of an option and subsequent confirmation of reservation implies the client's full and unreserved agreement to these terms and conditions of sale.

 

A) RESERVATION CONDITIONS

•  OPTION:

The granting of an option gives reservation priority. This period can be interrupted at any moment by a request by another client to reserve the boat for the same date. In this case, having been informed of the situation by us, the client has 48 hours to make a firm confirmation of the reservation ( by paying a deposit of 50%)

 

•  RESERVATION – NUMBER OF PASSENGERS - BILLING:

Enquiries become reservations only after the quote has been accepted, the terms and conditions have been signed, and the first payment of 50% has been received. The quotation sets out the conditions for the use of the boat (date, time, place and number of passengers), the number and type of meals to be served, plus details of any entertainment and decoration. For sole use events, the price may include a minimum billing amount.

 

The rental times on the invoice indicate the amount of time for which the boat is to hired and give the precise time of departure and arrival. Should the client arrive early SEINE RECEPTIONS -Paris en Croisière reserves the right to invoice the rental extra time at the applicable rate. Should the client arrive late, SEINE RECEPTIONS - Paris en croisière reserves the right to reduce the length of the cruise by the amount of time equivalent to the client's late arrival.

The client undertakes to indicate the number of participants corresponding to the number of meals to be served at the latest 72 hours before the date of the event. The invoice will be based on this number, and no reduction in the number of partcipants will be accepted after this point.

 

Should we note during the event that more guests than previously indicated are present, the number billed shall be the actual number of participants. This number will be listed on a report of the event to be signed by the client at the end of the event. In this case SEINE RECEPTIONS – Paris en croisière cannot be held responsible for any insufficiency of quantities served to the guests nor for any degradation in the level of service due the increased number of guests present. SEINE RECEPTIONS – Paris en croisière reserves the right to refuse access to any persons arriving in addition to the number of guests previously indicated by the client.

 

•  LAST MINUTE MODIFICATIONS:

Any modification to the intial contract, except those mentioned in the previous paragraph, shall be subject to our prior approval. We reserve the right to refuse modifications to the initial contract, in particular changes which would be likely to compromise the the smooth running of cruises taking place before or after the client's event. No claim regarding the running of the event will be admissible after the day of the event.

 

4 – PAYMENT CONDITIONS:

•  Reservation: a deposit equal to 50% of the price agreed on confirmation is due immediately upon reservation

•  A second payment of the remaining 50% plus any other services agreed upon subsequent to the signing of the contract is to be made 10 days before the event.

 

The final payment to include any extras ordered on board on the day of the event is to paid on site. Any taxes or commissions arising from payment by Carte Bleue, American Express or other means of payment are to be borne by the client.

 

B) CANCELLATION CONDITIONS

Cancellation by the client:

- more than 60 days before the agreed date: 10% of the total amount will be due. Moreover, a fee relating to any extraordinary expenditure incurred by SEINE RECEPTIONS – Paris en Croisière will be due (entertainment or specific decoration that cannot be used for another event).

- more than 30 days before the agreed date: 50% of the total amount will be due.

- less than 30 days before the agreed date: 75% of the total amount will be due.

- less than 10 days before the agreed date: 100 % of the total amount will be due.

 

Strikes and war will not be considered grounds for last minute cancellation, no reduction will be granted.

 

Cancellation by the boat owner :

The cruises being subject to the rules and regulations of naviagation, the boat owner or boat company reserve the right of judgement as to the navaigability of the river. Cruises can be cancelled or modified at any time after reservation, including the day of departure, in accordance with the said rules and regulations or in case of inclement weather such as to endanger the safety of passengers. Any such cancellation or modification will result in the possibility of running the event at port or if circumstances permit postponing the event until it can be held at port. In case of mechanical problems (breakdown etc) a reduction in the rental price will be accorded, but solely according to the terms and conditions of the boat owner or boat company concerned.

 

C) REGULATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

PARKING: SEINE RECEPTIONS- Paris cannot be held responsible for clients' vehicles parked near the boat

On board, the client undertakes the following:

Not to install any signage, exterior blinds, tents, marquees, wind-breaks or similar equipment, or any equipment which could prove dangerous for the passengers or crew without prior permission.

Not to use streamers, confetti, not to use nails or adhesives that could damage surfaces

Not to use equipment that produces electrical interference

To pay in full and without recourse to SEINE RECEPTIONS-Paris en Croisière for any damages caused on board by their own staff, suppliers or guests

 

SEINE RECEPTIONS - PARIS EN CROISIERE will do all in our power to ensure that the event proceeds under the conditions agreed to upon reservation. We shall not be liable for for payment of any indemnities in case of modification of the schedule or itinerary due to events beyond our control. We shall not be held responsible for loss or damage to clothes, personal effects or hand luggage. The company reserves the right to invoice the client for any material damage caused on board by the client or one of their guests. Settlement of disputes: in case of disputes or claims only French courts and law shall be applicable. Any dispute will be referred to the Tribunal de Commerce de Paris.
